Enjoy all of the exciting Alcatraz Island attractions and natural adventures at Muir Woods forest. Muir Woods is one of the few remaining virgin Redwood forests. Its coastal Redwoods are among the tallest trees in the world. They can reach over 350 feet and live for more than 2000 years. Walk the quiet, shaded forest paths of Muir Woods National Monument. Wander through this grove of virgin Redwoods and capture photo opportunities. Sausalito at one time was a fishing village then became an artist colony. As today you can stroll through, art galleries and dine at world-class restaurants by the waterfront. In Marin County, along the San Francisco Bay, you can view Tiburon, Angel Island and Alcatraz Island . At the end of Muir Woods( Sausalito) Tour you will return to Fisherman's Wharf and then sail from Pier 41 on the 'Blue and Gold' fleet to the infamous federal penitentiary. Al 'Scar face' Capone, 'Machine gun' Kelly and Robert 'Birdman' Stroud were housed on "The Rock". You will have time to explore the whole Alcatraz Island. The tour includes a movie about Alcatraz 's history and a 35 minute audio headset tour of the Alcatraz cell block, the museum and bookstore. |

A booking service is provided for purchasing Alcatraz tickets. Your order authorizes our agents to purchase the tickets in your name. Following your city tour, you will pick up your Alcatraz tickets at the prepaid machine or prepaid window at Fisherman's Wharf. Picking up your tickets at the machine is the fastest method. In either case, you will need the credit card used to order the tickets as your identification. If you pick up your tickets at the ticket window, you will also need your driver's license or passport. Tickets may not be picked up prior to the tour date.Your credit card statement will show two charges - one for Explorertour, Inc and one for the Alcatraz tickets.Your order does not guarantee availability of tickets. Alcatraz tickets are often sold out for specific dates and times. Your order is not confirmed until you receive a email from us advising that the order has been placed and confirmed.
No Refunds or Changes:
There are no refunds on Alcatraz tickets, unless tickets are not available for the date and time you requested. Policies set forth by others will prohibit us from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.Tickets shall be null and void and of no value unless utilized by the customer on the date and time on the tickets.The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased is 14. For larger groups, please call us. All Sales are Final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations permitted on tickets purchased.
